Commission: Booth Rivals 5

Here we are at the final page! The competition is finally over and in my opinion, it looks like just about everyone wins.

Is it me or did the two lovely ladies put on quite the show?

Sketch:

It's almost a little sad to see this come to an end. I had quite a lot of fun working on each page - thinking about how each heroine might try and outdo the other - enough so that I would say it was easily one of my favorite projects to have worked on. I hope I can continue to be just as lucky and come into other projects that are as fun and as sexy (if not more so!) as this one was.

Commission: Mera's Hooked

Another awesome commission from another awesome person! Mera, the queen of Atlantis, seems to have caught herself a very lucky lad. Or, perhaps is it the other way around...?

I loved drawing a great pair of floating breasts! I thought it was pretty fun as I certainly don't do that often. And it was also fun to play with the colors here; the participants being underwater made things interesting. Speaking of colors, you'll find an alternate version of the piece just below. The only difference is there's an extra slight shade of blue to give more of the effect they're underwater.

Chichi and Gohan Animation

I made a short animation featuring Chichi and Gohan from Dragon Ball (using the current Flash program) and I'm happy to say it was good practice. I think after having animated a few walk cycles I wanted to try to do something a bit different. A bit more... action-y. It's not a perfect animated loop by all means, by the way, but I would be lying if I didn't say I wasn't a little proud of myself for working on it.

Well, I'm going to continue practicing animation whenever I can - I didn't buy so many animation books for nothing! - and I'll be sure to post up some of the results here. Should be interesting.

Here's the rough animation:

Captive Kiva

I finally found some time to color a sketch I made of Kiva from the show Megas XLR for wwoec's woman of the month for January. The piece was inspired by two things: the episode "DMV: Department of Megas Violations," when Kiva was captured by the space bounty hunter babe; and the cover to the comic "Invincible" no. 82.

I can't help but love a woman with an angry face. There's just something about it that makes her seem dangerous and yet sexy at the same time.
