Jak and Daxter Sketches

Here are some Jak and Daxter sketches I made not too long ago. I'm a huge Jak and Daxter fan - played all the games - so I suppose it was only natural to get an itch to draw some of the characters. First, I sketched out Ashelin and "little Jak" (as I like to call him) in pencil and then, out of curiosity, I drew them again but in digital to see if there would be a major difference in style. Interestingly, there wasn't much of a difference (if at all) between both versions. After a few years of working on a Cintiq tablet I think my pencil sketches and digital sketches are beginning to look a lot more similar.

After I sketched out Ashelin and little Jak I also moved on to Tess, Daxter, and Keira.

After the jump you can view three more sketches, a couple of which have content of a beastly nature...

Daxter and Ashelin were really fun to draw. I absolutely love how Ashelin's face came out, her angry look making her even sexier. And finally, Keira and the Flut Fluts, large birds that you ride briefly in the game. The latter idea was stolen from... er, I mean inspired by Rubaka's Jak and Daxter comic, Flut Slut Farm, which I think was probably one of my "gateway drugs" into the world of beastly-related art. If you're out there reading this Rubaka: Thanks for the great work!

Keep swimming,
Glassfish

  1. Rats! My prediction was on the mark partly and not dead on. XD Oh well, still, the artwork are great and glad to see which artist got these ideas running in that head of yours. :D I can't wait to see for more like these.

    2. Maybe what I wanted will appear in the future, if I got into Furry Anthro by another means, maybe the same will happen to you the other way around. :D

  2. Nice work, Glassfish! I've not played this series for a while, but I loved it so much. The racing game was kind of a let down, but the others were great!

The ladies look really hot, but then with your art style that is to be expected. lol

    1. I actually really enjoyed playing Jak X. It was a lot fun although I must admit it wasn't the best racing game out there.

Thanks for the compliment about the sexy ladies! If there's anything I want to be known for, it's super sexy ladies.

    2. it's kind of in Naughty Dog's pedigree, for lack of a better term to make a kart racer as their fourth game in a series, like Crash Team Racing. Which is why I'm waiting with baited breath for "Unkarted".

Anyway, I just love all the figures of the ladies you've done, and the expression on Keira's face in that beastiality picture

    3. Thanks for the kind words on the ladies (and especially on Keira's expression)! And as for "Unkarted"? Sign. Me. Up!

  7. While I dont like Bestiality, it made me pretty happy to see Jak and Daxter art after all this time and see shota Jak. It's one of my favorite games.

  8. I meant to comment here a while back but my laziness got the best of me.
    Forgive me, GF =_=

Anyhoo, great work as always ^^ I love your take on these characters and how you were inspired from Aka's work. Both his comics "influenced" me to feel the same way about them lol. Love how you made them so juicy and plumped here <3
Keep on doing an awesome job, Glassfish!

PS. I'm gonna try to start to be more active around these parts :)

  9. Hi there. Thank you for mentioning my comic. I am glad it had such impact on you. I am also a big fan of JAK series. And was really glad when BlackTea commissioned that "FlutSlut Farm" comic from me.

And I absolutely love your sketches, especially the one with Flut-Flut and his face expressions! I am saving it into my "reference" folder! :)

P.S. I also thing JAK-X Racing was a decent game. It wasn't great or anything. But it was a quality product and had a very distinct Jak universe feel to it (Unlike that PSP Jak crap...), and that's all I need, really.

Anyways, those sketches are great. hope to see more ;)

    1. Thanks for the compliment on the sketches!

I have to admit, I did like Jak X for it's characters and story. I was plowing through the races just to get to one cut-scene to the next. The game felt short but you're absolutely right when you say it had a distinctive Jak universe feel. As for the the "Lost Frontier" for the psp, I also thought the game was really terrible.

Thanks again for stopping by and commenting and thanks for all the great work you do on your end.
